Electro-optical Crystals

Lithium Niobate (LiNbO3)  is a nonlinear optical grade crystal, it widely used in parametric oscillators, frequency doubling, acousto-optic devices, optical modulators. MgO-doped LiNbO3 can effectively increase the damage threshold of the LiNbO3 crystal.

Bismuth silicate (Bi12SiO20) single crystal, abbreviation BSO substrate is an excellent material for surface acoustic wave devices, bulk acoustic wave devices, holographic memories and electro-optical devices.

An important crystal matrix material with excellent optical and physicochemical properties, the YAP crystal is a rare earth and transition metal ion doped crystal, which widely used in laser, scintillation, holographic recording and optical data storage, ionizing radiation dosimeters and high temperature superconducting thin film substrates.

Calcium carbonate (CaCO3) is a non-uniaxial crystal with large birefringence, wide spectral range, and it is a diamond shape of crystal. CaCO3 crystal is suitable for visible and near-infrared polarized materials. CaCO3 is a mineral crystal with high birefringence and polarization properties.

Yttrium aluminium garnet (YAG) is a cubic crystal system crystal, It has excellent optical, thermal properties. Its mechanical properties and chemical stability are close to the sapphire(Al2O3) crystal, and doesn't have the sapphire's birefringence; The pure YAG crystal has a high transmittance in the 0.25~5 um region,  and has no absorption at 2-3 um, while the glass has a strong H2O absorption zone in this area. Therefore, undoped pure YAG crystal is a new type of substrate and window material for UV and infrared optical equipment, and the excellent physical and optical properties of YAG crystal make it an important application in high temperature and high energy physical environments.

Gallium nitride, (GaN) substrate has a wide direct bandgap, strong atomic bonds and high thermal conductivity, etc., and it is a strong ability on anti-radiation, Not only is the short-wavelength optoelectronic materials, Also the replacement materials of high temperature semiconductor device, GaN can be used to make blue and green LED, or violet, ultraviolet light LD, ultraviolet detectors and high-frequency high-power electronic devices.

Rutile Titanium dioxide (TiO2) single crystal substrate. Rutile large birefringence, large refractive index, Which is A good materials for spectral prism and polarizing device (such as optical isolators and the beam splitter). Compared with YVO4, The TiO2 crystals has a better physical and chemical stability.
