The series of laboratory microwave tunnels LabotronTM TMW 2.45 GHz developed by SAIREM is intended for continuous processes of not very thick products. They are suitable for packaged products in jars, bags or trays, and specifically designed to determine the best relationship between power/time/hot air/product quality.

In general these tunnels are equipped with a variable speed conveyor belt, a hot air system with adjustable temperature and several microwave sources. Their flexible design makes possible:
  • To applying different levels of microwave power to the top and to the bottom of the product. Depending on the shape of the product and the type of product it is therefore possible to obtain different temperature values throughout the same product;
  • To setting up a higher power at product inlet for fast heating and lower power once the product has reached the desired temperature for maintaining the temperature for a given time in view of pasteurization, for example;
  • To obtaining fast or slow heating time, for example from 40 seconds to 10 minutes;
  • To obtaining homogeneity of heating by using heated air according to the type of container – glass, plastic – by varying the temperature, the speed and direction of the air.

Labotron 8000, microwave tunnel/oven, 8 kW, 2.45 GHz

The LabotronTM 12 TRF max. 12 kW, 50 ohm, 27.12 MHz and LabotronTM CD 60 T, max. 6 kW, 27.12 MHz, are intended for testing the heating of products with different heights, due to an adjustable height upper electrode. The equipment can be configured to operate in either static or continuous mode.

TRF 12, radio-frequency tunnel/oven, 12 kW, 27.12 MHz
