The Model 660 is designed to be a multi-purpose precision saw using any size diamond wheel up to 7" diameter. Its low speed allows it to cut all materials which have been traditionally cut with a high speed diamond wheel while also cutting very fragile and soft materials with minimal specimen damage.

The Model 660 is designed to perform precise sectioning of oriented surfaces as required in crystollographic research as well as the typical sectioning required by the metallographer and metallurgical researcher.
