MAIN FEATURES

Ripple: 1% RMS at full power (GMP 60 K/SM), <1% RMS at full power (GMP 60 KE/D).

pulsed mode operation.

DESCRIPTION

The microwave generator is constituted by three elements, the power supply, the control unit and the microwave head.

The generator can be controlled either in manual mode from the front panel or in remote mode via the remote connector or the RS 232 option.

POWER SUPPLY

Is based on the latest switch mode power supply technology, offering size reduction and good power stability. The switch mode design has better than 90 % efficiency and offers significantly reduced electrical losses.

MICROWAVE HEAD

The head includes a water cooled magnetron mounted on a waveguide launcher with isolator and reflected power crystal detector. The filament transformer is also included. The microwave head can be mounted in any orientation (up side down if necessary). Microwave output on WR 340 waveguide with standard flanges CPR 340. All cables are easily disconnected from the microwave head.
