Chrome Plated Tungsten Rods

Chrome Plated Tungsten rods work very well for chromium evaporating, this method has proven to be very successful and user friendly. They require less heat than evaporation of Chromium metal from a basket or a boat because the metal is in intimate contact with the heated tungsten rod. Also the advantages of using chrome rods over chrome chips are better regulation of film thickness and elimination of spitting and spalling which can cause pinhole type defects.
